My ex-girlfriend was a September 11th survivor and lost her mom in the south Tower. On our first date she took me to the World Trade center and reflecting pools. We found her mom's name. The Freedom Tower wasn't completed yet. Very emotional place. Enjoy your time in New York and the game in New Jersey. I wish I could go but the prices are so high and no one wants to go with the. Lol New Jersey us a hike from Long Island. Cheers guys

My family lived in Brooklyn during that period and my dad was supposed to do some work in a building a couple of blocks down from the WTC. He didn’t make it on time as my older cousin made him late. He ended up stuck a little bit before the Brooklyn bridge as traffic was completely standstill. From there he just got out of the car and watched the towers collapse
I was too young to even remember what was going on that day and it’s surreal to me that something like that even happened

I was at my work experience at Dunes Stores Omagh when I was at College doing my NVQ in Retail that & I heard nothin untill I got into my taxi later that day to head back to my college.
I was sue to fly to Canada with a connecting flight at JFK airport a few months later on a work programme a few months after 9/11 we still went a month later than scheduled but JFK was like we just landed in a air force base & not a public airport with alot of military at the airport.
Adam McKola & Stephen Howson there is also a museum dedicated to 9/11 there as well.
