I am an older viewer and struggle with the rule changes. Why is 'leaning' offside? Since when? The second goal I would not have given either bc Messi runs along and there is a possibility he could get the ball and the goalie has to consider this. If he had entirely stayed away it should have stood. It's just amazing how the decisions are worse now with rule changes and VAR than before.

At first I thought number 13 was further back and pissed the VAR did not take that player into account for Martinez’s goal. But now i see that number 13 defender is indeed further front than the one beside Martinez shown in VAR. Can totally see using the lines on the field.
In the offical rules it state that an offside position is when a players body EXEPT HAND AND ARMS is case the last defender. If you go online and search up picture of the ai made offside you can see that ONLY THE HANDS AND ARMS are in offside FOR BOTH GOALS! Therefore there is a high chance the ref was bribed.
