  1. Robbed!! Martinez’s 1st goal was not offsides #13 keeps him onside. But VAR didn’t even bother to check. this World Cup has been a disgrace since it’s very inception way back in 2010.

  2. I love it when Messi is exposed on the big stage, it happened in 2018 when he flopped in the World Cup and still won the Ballon Dor because of his performances vs Eibar and Mallorca the next year. He will flop in this World Cup and get Ballon Dor shouts by smashing Clemtre Foot and Bolivia

  3. Second one was offside as well. Although impossible in this scenario, Balotelli once scored with his shoulder vs Norwich. That body part is offside. Also the line is not from the right angle in these footages.

  4. this game should have ended 2-2 at least, altho if they didnt wave off that Martinez goal, it would have been harder for Saudi to come back. They really managed to manipulate the game with that semi auto offisde, even the guy that developed the technology was laughing and said "its not the algorythm that makes the mistake, they are just putting the offside line manually wherever they want"

  5. They should make the offside calls based on the feet on the floor… not the freaking upper body. It would make so much more sense.

  6. I am an older viewer and struggle with the rule changes. Why is 'leaning' offside? Since when? The second goal I would not have given either bc Messi runs along and there is a possibility he could get the ball and the goalie has to consider this. If he had entirely stayed away it should have stood. It's just amazing how the decisions are worse now with rule changes and VAR than before.

  7. At first I thought number 13 was further back and pissed the VAR did not take that player into account for Martinez’s goal. But now i see that number 13 defender is indeed further front than the one beside Martinez shown in VAR. Can totally see using the lines on the field.

  8. In the offical rules it state that an offside position is when a players body EXEPT HAND AND ARMS is case the last defender. If you go online and search up picture of the ai made offside you can see that ONLY THE HANDS AND ARMS are in offside FOR BOTH GOALS! Therefore there is a high chance the ref was bribed.
