For years media always said Hazard needed to leave Chelsea for the next step, said the same with Coutinho and even Salah all from teams who won trophies. Yes, regardless whether you want to complain about the Bundesliga or not, he has the chance in 4 years to potentially win 4 leagues, a champions league and a hat full of domestic cups. If he stayed in England:
City – Have Haaland and Alvarez
United – Have a shout at winning the league and domestic cup if they continue their trajectory but its still no guarentee
Arsenal – Same problem as United
Liverpool – Are top heavy already and wouldn't pay out the wages
Chelsea – Buying young in new model
Newcastle – Are still early in the process to get to challenging
So leaving the UK and going to either Bayern or Real were his only options to get the trophy haul his career really should of already had if he got the City move previously.
