  1. Does Messi play midweek games?

I have tickets for when Miami play at Chicago on October 4th. It’s a midweek game. Miami play 3 games that week(possibly 5 games in 14 days if they make the US Open Cup final). More often than not, starters rarely play midweek in MLS. There’s an American football game at the stadium 3 days prior to the Miami game so I’m not sure how well the grass(it’s grass, not turf) will be by Wednesday. There’s also an international break the following week, so he may be called up for that. Would Messi even play? Obviously lots of time between now & then but I’m a little nervous that he won’t play.

  2. ESPN and the media should give CR7 more credit , Last year he scored 1 goal in 26 matches played with 14 full matches played and it was a penalty and won Bench D'Or . Season before that he scored 18 goals against Norwich City and Brentford with 0 goals 0 assists 0 chances created against Liverpool or Man city and won Garbage D'Or and he also assaulted a child with disability and won Criminal D'Or . Now he is busy blaming every teammate every coach from every club and country for his failure and won Failure D'Or as a penaldo fan my only option is to call everything "Rigged" with 0 legal documents and fake theories to create my own happiness .

  3. "im not here on vacation….we came here to compete and put miami on top." you arent a world cup, euros, champions league, and league champion multiple times over without this mentality. loved his answer at the end. ive watched his career since day 1, and messis as well(barca fan since 2003) and this is unreal to witness.

  4. I went to Barcelona and could not go and see a game nor the stadium a few years back when he was playing there and now… he moved to Miami so no chance for me to see the GOAT but I wish him the best and I hope he got good goal scorers cause hes gonna assist like crazy

  5. I honestly still can’t believe they’re here. I would think they would go to Asia since that’s where Iniesta and Xavi went after Barcelona, but the fact that they’re here makes me very happy. And let’s me know that MLS is headed in the right direction when some of the greatest players ever want to come here. Idc what the haters have to say, they’re here and they’re happy, so if you’re salty it’s nothing you can comment that will make me mad😂

  6. I've always loved press resistance, and I love it even more these days with the game becoming so focused on high and constant pressing.
Prime Barcelona were so press-resistant and Busi was a key part of that. A joy to watch.

  7. It's kinda sad he left Barca when we still need him most. Now, Xavi and co struggling to find his replacement. For him, if we want to find a replacement he must be someone like Busquets. And the only closest one is Oriol Romeu. Not sure if he can deliver like Busquets did, but we don't have much choice considering the club's financial problem. But Busquets is irreplaceable. Been watching him from his early days at Barca, it's very surprising to hear him speak english.

  8. He is certainly delivering with Messi for the team.

Messi speaks with his Argentine accent and Sergi “Bushkets”with his European Spanish accent. I like hearing Messi’s “sh” or “zh”sound for “ll” (very Argentine) and Busquets’ “th” sound for “z” or “c” before e or i. Very Castilian, though he’s a Catalan, haha.

Looking forward to a future interview in Engish. Maybe Messi will learn it too.

If they can somehow lift the last placers to the playoffs and go all the way, it will be another astonishing achievement in the unparalleled career of Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini.
