  1. Good time to sell. Fantastic for the first four years, big drop off last season. Could still play a part in the coming season but £40m for a player who lets face it was forced out of the side by an 18 year old Bajcetic is too good to turn down.

  2. I think Liverpool will continue to struggle next year. Klopp a purple patch with a lot of "best in class" people hitting their best. The problem with that approach is you can't replace "best in class" that easily. It's not like replacing a battery.

  3. Fabinho shouldnt be sold for less than 50m and henderson 20m. We need to buy 2 more maybe even 3 players if they both leave.

  4. All the name being linked with Liverpool are extremely underwhelming and in particular Philips, never have rated him and never will.

  5. On potential signings, Dominic King says “Sofian Amrabat and Ryan Gravenberccch at Bayern Municccch who Liverpool have a longstanding interest in. The fact LFC are still looking at him suggests (waffle waffle) he’s somebody they’re looking at”

Then Cascarino replies back saying “there a lot of quality midfielders you mention there. Amrabat at WC was tremendous and kept getting the ball. Lavia is moving up but I’m still a big fan of Kalvin Phillips.”….

Cascarino didn’t talk about the reporter’s tip- Gravenberch and the reporter didn’t even mention Lavia & Phillips so was forced to talk about Phillips and even said discussions would be difficult between ManC & LFC If If he was a REAL target.

What a totally & utterly pointless direction this conversation headed into. All because of Cascarino’s blather.

  6. Ah, behold! The audacious declaration of an eccentric moral compass presented by none other than the self-proclaimed paragons of immorality. Brace yourselves, for they have conjured forth a medley of abhorrent abominations, intending to thrust their nauseating ideologies upon unsuspecting souls. Oh, how jocular it is to witness these godless miscreants endeavoring to compel virtuous beings, armed with unwavering moral convictions and unwavering ethical compasses, into embracing their wickedness! Truly, a spectacle of irony and sarcasm that tickles the very fabric of our existence! Translation: Saudi Arabia is on the side of morality and the West and their lgbtq agenda is an abomination masquerading as a morality.

  7. Forty million is a decent fee, as long as we act fast to find a suitable replacement this is good business.

Fab had just one bad season, I just hope we don’t live to regret this

  8. Klopp has always said that he would not stand in the way of any player who didn't want to be at Anfield, any player he didn't really feel was fully committed to the best interests of Liverpool FC – so I think that he would much rather Fabinho and Henderson left now, so that he can get a replacement in asap.

  9. He is 30 in a few months but played like he was closer to 40 last season. The money is good so take it and build for the near future

Klopp’s system is effective, but it really takes its toll on players. The irony is that he would look better this season if he stayed – as he’d have two new quality midfielders in front of him – but we’re never going to see the 2018-20 Fabinho, so time to be ruthless

  10. Bad move. Fabinho had 1 bad season. Now let him go??? When u just signed quality MFs to help him out. 40mil ain't gonna get you a top class DM which is what Liverpool will need. A youngster with some good games isn't going to do it. Bad move and if his still got years on his contract I ain't letting him walk.

  11. Losing Henderson and Fabinho will be tough on the team as midfield will need to be worked on and gelled to suit the style as no one will be left.

  12. The chickens are coming home to roost for FSG. This is the result of five years of neglect of the midfield. You do not overhaul the most important part of a team in one transfer window. This is a recipe for disaster. The way things are going Henry and his boys will not be wining and dining the executives of UCL clubs for a couple of seasons. Them boys got fat off that UCL money and now they will not move in this transfer window after signing two players. 🤣🤣🤣

  13. Like the look of Latvia very much out of all the choices, would prefer Fabinho to stay as well as buying Lavia as understudy.

  14. Is it crime for Liverpool to sign Caicedo for 100 million pounds?
Look at Arsenal who haven't achieve a quater of what Liverpool have achieve in the past 7 season are signing players with ridiculous amount of money.
This is not cool at all.
Replace Hendo and Flaco with Caicedo and Kpheram Thuram, then we are winning the league next season.

  15. They are taking the p### how can you expect are captain but don't want to pay, this ain't cash, & carry .

They are mean like Blackburn look what happen to that club owned by chicken firm refuse to pay the team .

  16. £40m for Fabinho is unbelievable business and one of the best deals of the last 10 years. Liverpool will recoup all of the money they spent and from last season you could see his legs have gone and he couldn’t cover the ground quick enough

  17. Stefan can replace Fab. Fab was atrocious last year and tbh so was most of the MF. Stefan was one of very few MF positives for Liverpool

  18. Can I just ask, What was the point of this "Tom" actually coming on the show just out of interest? He offered absolutely nothing in terms of insight or insider knowledge… The two presenters could literally have done that segment on their own without this so-called "corespondent" 🤷‍♂️ Bizarre

  19. I don't understand how they can find the funds to pay 700 grand a week but not funds for 20 mil transfer fee

  20. None of the CDMs linked are good enough to replace Fabinho or Hendo. FSG needs to break the bank to sign quality now… Not potential. Its all good paying 60 mil plus for szobos. We needed a CDM or strong Box to box CM first. So maybe get that position filled with a player capable of being in a title chasing side and playing in the CL big games. Lavia for me is a no! And what saints want is staggering.
Maybe theres no market for one at the moment. But then why sell Fab?

  21. All of the stick Phillips gets is entirely based on the price tag, and the minutes played for Man City. Both those factors are in the hands of Pep and the City bpard. His ability and application on the pitch is why.. noone ever said he wasnt worth it at the time… the day before he signed for City, noone would flinch at the idea of Phillips being a liverpool player, high energy, intense, with a focus on regaining position in the opponents half… at that point it was almost like Leeds were the academy for Klopps pressing style… 2 years on, Liverpool have evolved their style slightly, and Phillips has been training daily with De Bruyne and Haaland. Everything points at it being an ideal transfer if Liverpool were to pursue it… theres an array of reasons why it is a positive, and like i say, the only negatives against his name are, man citys squad size, man city's depth in defence pushing for Pep to adapt the centre backs into full backs and centee midfielders, the form and ability of Rodri, baring in mind, all these "negatives" against him, are infact positives, because these are the standard of player he trains with, and the level of footballer he has to compete with to get game time… people are quick to discredit facts and run with a narrative… but youre talking nonsense if you think Philip's isnt top tier and would slot into the 6/8 role at 19 team's in the premiet league… the only variable here, is if Rodri got inuured, youd all be saying Philip's is world class because he would of had 50 games in a treble winning team… Philip's to City, is Walcott to Sven Goran Erikson

  22. Szoboszli , Mcallister , Bajetic , Jones …..with Hendo & Fabinho gone FSG cant mess about now , JK needs financial backing NOW , Lavia's potential has no ceiling (him) , a Barella esq signing (him) and an Eze or Paulinha aswell as the engine room will be the difference between 1st & 2nd , FSG cant keep relying on JK's management skills , he needs funancial help NOW , pre season is on us and JK swears by a solid pre season , so leave the red sox and fuckin penguins for a few days and get over here and give your loyal "our" loyal gaffer some weight to help us , or piss off

  23. He's been a very good player for Liverpool but looks on the decline. Thiago could go too. He's 32 and never been the most physical. That'd leave a very young midfield with two (or three, if Lavia or similar comes) new signings, three younger players with some experience (Elliott, Jones, Bajcetic) and youth players beyond that. They could probably do with one more with some versatility and experience. I'd go for Ward Prowse or even Phillips just to pad the squad out with some Premier League experience, even if they get a Lavia or similar to cover Fabinho's spot.

They've only 5 senior players to cover 3 positions up front too, so they could do with an extra player there too.

It's a small squad at 23 listed on the Wiki page. Clark, Quansah, Doak, Bradley and maybe some others might get a promotion this year and feature some. I definitely think they've a couple of big signings lined up because I don't think they'll start with such a small squad.
