Just wonder if the pace of PL may throw his timing a bit… something he'd need adjustment asap. But otherwise a versatile (but a touch short) and ROBUST defender

Good player, but Martinez is better imo
I tell yah one thing Timber will do: He will constantly be on the asses of all the taller strikers the entire game as CB because he is so fast. If that ball is on the ground then he will be a nightmare for all the tall strikers including Haaland. Pace will give you just that. Strikers have to think about being more Aerial against him but we can let Saliba deal with that. So suddenly, we will become quite difficult to get countered and we will feel more secure pushing forward for longer periods, especially with Deco in the midfield. Haaland will not like playing against Timber. At 5'10 , with pace, agility and amazing tackling and dribbling quality, if that ball remains on the ground then I don't see any stiff going passed Timber, i just can't see it. Anyone who has watched him live must know this that is why Arteta got him.
From what I've seen of Timber, he looks pretty good, but I need to see a lot more. What I'm liking is how stacked we'll be in defence, esp when everyone is fit.
