Rose, I honestly think that Onana won't stay here long term. I don't know the technicalities of his contract but I know he is ambitious. It will either be a top 6 UK team or Europe, but I bet he will leave Everton within the next 2 seasons. We have very little to offer him, he joined because of Lampard and how much is he really able to learn and grow in this set up? I hope he stays but think he will go xx

Just hold onto our decent players rather than further weaken the squad. They’re under contract. We’d have to replace them anyway and it’s clear we can’t attract anyone decent to fill the existing gaps.

With the Onana swapping situation, in a way, it would be logical because he could be the sacrificial lamb for Everton to sell to receive lots of money for rebuilding the squad for this season. Like West Ham with Rice and Brighton currently with Caicedo, this could be a escape route of Everton to get some money on Onana. With Maguire, it could help him build his confidence up with a less pressure environment and just play his football despite his mistakes on defence in the past. What do you think, Rose? 🤔
