Real Madrid completed their first training session at Ciudad Real Madrid on Sunday following their return from the pre-season tour in the USA. On returning to Madrid and their home training grounds, the team turn to preparing for the LaLiga 23/24 debut, which will be on Saturday, August 12 against Athletic Club at San Mamés. After the warm-up, Carlo Ancelotti’s players carried out a series of rondos, then worked on playing out from thre back and pressing. The session concluded with a number of small-sided games. Watch as Thibaut Courtois, Jude Bellingham, David Alaba and Vini Jr. and co. prepare for their debut of the 23/24 LaLiga season!

I don't see us competing with ONLY Joselu as ST and Carvajal as RB…Look at City, Barca, Arsenal, Chelsea…They have more subs to rotate the squad and have more weapons…So our CB sub is Natcho if our main defense is injured?…who replaces Carvajal?…Joselu is similar to Mariano…Just sits in the box and waits….UNLESS Mbappe comes and we play with three defenders (Militao, Rudiger, Alaba) 3-4-3…we can let Fran Garcia push forward as he is OUR ONLY GUY who can CROSS balls….The pre-season games just showed we still need Kross and Modric to keep the midfield together
