It would be absolutely hypocritical to pick Henderson after the criticism of Qatar before and during the world cup.

As I said before, Southgate is happy to dimiss the Championship which is better than the Saudi league but is ok with considering Henderson which says it all about how good Southgate is at his job
Keown is paid up member of the PFA here, Southgate will do exactly what he did last time picking Maguire, Shaw, Philips, etc and wonder why they get beat again in the quarters. no one is going to tell me Southgate will see many games in the Saudi league so he cant possibly be picked. Bellingham should sit out or Rice hes having a laugh. Henderson might get on the plane to organise the snooker nights but that will be it.

So if Eddie Nketiah joins NK Olimpija Ljubljana from the Slovenian Prva Liga and bangs in > 50 goals in a season does Gareth Southgate pick Eddie over Harry Kane? Players don't perform in a vacuum so it's a damn sight harder to excel in the Premier League than the wee diddy leagues of Slovenia, Scotland et al or even fledgling leagues like Saudi Arabia. It's also delicious to hear peeps spitting the dummy when other leagues do exactly what the Premier League has done over the years i.e. buy up all the best talent from the rest of the world and weaken those competitions as a result.
