English media is a lot of propaganda. So many callers they tried to gaslight or try to say they mean this or they switched to passive agressiveness. Fans can't rant, vent or express opinions that does not align with pundits or media.
No wonder England's mediocre, there's the delusional American dream & then the media's "it's coming home with Southgate".
Maguire was best for England by a country mile.
MOTM was American goalie. He was so solid passing, coming out to catch the ball & even dribbled a bit or did feints to create space for a pass. He didn't have to do amazing saves because he jumped well & his passing & cool mentality carried his team.
He did play very well, but everyone players terribly so it’s not exactly the greatest achievement😅
Happy for him instead of letting the criticism get to him he’s trying to improve his game hopefully he can be consistent .
Maguire was good but please don't overhype it let's keep going forward and hope to play better as a team
Played well for the most part but he also completely left the ball to roll across the box for the best chance of the match which Mckennie fired over the bar
Harry Maguire was our best player today and got man of the match that says everything you need to know about how bad we were as a team (Not knocking his performance) I'm just waiting on Gabby to say "Oh I told you all he's the best english defender of all time haters sit down"
I agree. maguire and possibly Shaw were the only two who played well. Bellingham was catastrophically poor, Mount too. Saka very lacking.
