Do the same comparison using his stats from the previous season and you’ll see a massive difference. His total goal contributions was 13th in the prem 22/23, however 21/22 he was 6th and if you look at the last 5 seasons, his total goal contributions is 4th, behind Salah, Kane and De Brunye. So over the last 5 seasons he’s the 2nd best midfielder behind De Brunye, not bad eh?! I think you’ll see a different Maddison in 23/24, he’ll be topping those charts!!

I have been away for a while. So, I have just found out that we have signed a player that proves my point. James Maddison hates us. He has tweeted this on many occasions.
