On the topic of the new home shirt, I did buy one, and absolutely hate it. The crappy "recycled" material being reintroduced again (a la the 2020/21 shirt) is such a poor decision when compared with last season's home shirt which was quality.

I wouldn’t say I’m nervous going into the season, we’ve acquired some veteran leaders that we’ve sorely missed, but we haven’t got a single clinical finisher to make up for the loss of Pukki. While I think Pukki’s finishing was overrated his last couple seasons with us, he still was a step in quality above barnes and Sargent as finishers. While I like the pickup of barnes and I love Sargent as a player, I don’t see them getting more than 25 goals between the pair of them, which is needed for a premier league push.
This league is unique because no team is technically light years ahead of the others, I think we’ve made that mistake in the past of assuming because we’ve played well in this league we’ll walk it. It’s very much a division where your form, tactics and mentality will carry you. So it’s possible that if the new guys get their heads down we could have a squad good enough to compete. I see no reason we can go up automatically. Simultaneously I wouldn’t be shocked if we’re mid table. Such is this division.
I’m gutted at Mumba leaving, we seem to sell so many of our young players without giving them a proper try and they come back to haunt us. Carlton morris, toffolo and I think Mumba will join that list.
I'm concerned about selling players. I think we will struggle to sell max, big Andy and milot for our price. I would personally like to keep milot

I presume Jack is snorting Lacons or at least drinking far too much of it that’s for sure, one minute he hates josh sergeant the next minute he loves him, after the first three months of this season you will be hating him again I’m sure. Look, unfortunately the future for us is all doom and gloom, we had and still have a pathetic defence, no fight in midfield, No teemu to score our goals. I see Ipswich beating us at least once, also finishing higher than us, and not getting anywhere near the play offs. OMFG I hope I am completely wrong 🤦🏻😂😂😂

Has anyone seen the Wagner interview post todays friendly? If we was hopeful for more players don’t be… Wagner himself said he is happy with the squad and unless something happens to change that we “WILL NOT” be signing anyone else… 😵 and from how it sounds it seemed implied we will not unless a unbelievable offer comes in be selling anyone else… I don’t know about anyone else but does it feel like they are ok with mid table mediocrity at the club? They constantly lie to us supporter’s to settle us then when the big plan never happens they seem shocked we want the top end out the club. When Delia took over we was promised a return to top flight “where we belong” it’s taken this long to yo-yo and now we seem to be slumping back again. Webber promised us big guns and all the ammo and what we got was spud gun’s and a sack of potatoes then tells us he will be around until the job is done but wile telling us this has already happened his notice in… we get promised team rebuilds then let a chunk go out free bring a few oldies in free and sign one promising player “who has again never played in English football” and the players we need to let go are still here taking wages we apparently can’t afford… it was mentioned they have until the end of September to hit the ground running in this video but personally looking at what effort has been put in to do this “big change” I’d say it could be a match by match undercurrent waiting to erupt. Sorry for sounding negative and il be hopeful to be proven wrong but come on things don’t looks so bright right now do they…
Sargent proved last season that when he’s played through the middle he scores. In hindsight he shouldn’t have been dropped for Pukki.

Great podcast as always. I think we are 3 new players light. If Josh gets injured which happened last season do you honestly think we have enough goals in Barnes and Idah because let me tell you we haven't.
Thoughts on Lungi? I think if he is given a proper go in his preferred position he will easily be one of the better players in the division
I think the incomings are quite good but the outgoings are strange to say the least. It was made very public that Max would be going this summer yet there seems to be no interest whatsoever. That’s a bit embarrassing for the club… Then Mumba goes for very little when he seems to have real potential and should be good enough to get minutes this season.
I’m one of the glass ‘half full’ Norwich supporters but even I’m not convinced about what they’re doing right now.

Reality check here . If any clubs watched Max and Andy play last season would you stump out top dollar . Average at best – fear as you say both will move out at Poundland prices .
I say this tongue in cheek but how we could do with £20m+ offers coming in from some Saudi clubs for Placheta, Rashica & Tszolis… they've all got PL experience between them so surely they fit the basic bill in terms of appeal ?

Leeds fan here from West Anglia , have to say im excited for the new season Farke looks like he is a more then capable manager who has our players fitter than the American fella we had before . what position do you see yourselves finishing this season ? gonna be a tough league some big names in it this season . Looking forward to visiting both Norwich and Ipswich this season . GL guys
