If caicedo, stays, Brighton will again finish in top 6. They wil school us again this season, as they have done in recent past.
Balogun has 3 options
1. Whoever needs him should pay up
2. He signs a new deal and go on loan
3. He stays and fight for a place.
If Brighton can do it to Caicedo we should be able to be firm with our players also
I personally was never convinced of the kudus link from Mokbel. I usually wait to hear more journalists providing more links. Also, when Fabrizio and Ornstein mention the name Kudus, they usually follow it up with the name Chelsea and not Arsenal.

So the logical solution re. Turner should surely be… Rather than keeping him as a 3rd option, loan him out to them (or another club), as that's what they would be getting with Henderson. Believe in his abilities, and potentially be offered a higher fee nest season after more gameplay. 7m just too low, you can see his quality when he plays.
So many stupid comments about Edu's negotiating skills or poor transfer policy. So tedious.

We have to respect Arsenal transfer budgets and policy. Turner has to go to get Raya in, Balogun has to go to get another in, we don't know Kudas was a strong target we may have others we don't know about.

But with players going out, we slag them off and say they're not good enough and then moan about the price. We constantly say Turner is not good enough, Pepe is rubbish, etc etc etc. What a surprise we get what we deserve.

Reiss was playing with the team in the latest Arsenal training video. I think it came out yesterday.
1) We should be getting £45 mn min for balogun. If Rasmus can go for 80 mn with only 1 club chasing him, we should raise our bar as well.
2) Turner should have gone for 15 mn. Sanchez went for 25 mn warming the bench at Brighton and a couple of other keepers have moved around for a more that 10 mn fee that haven't played any football let alone international football. This price looks like a fee a team would pay for a 3rd choice gk let alone a 2nd choice one. I shall reserve judgment once the actual price comes out, add ons could be a factor as well. Else it's a disaster.
3) Selling both Eddie and Flo and bringing in a Toney/Vlahovic would be brilliant even though I would love Flo to stay. Gnabry vibes anyone if Flo leaves???
4) Unpopular opinion as it is i would keep pepe for this season and play him in the cups thereby giving saka a break. Hes not as bad as social media are leading one to believe.

I will take Kudus over Fabio Viera any day! I wonder why these flimsy, mediocre players like Fabio end up in Arsenal and block better players from coming to the club so easily! If you are not ruthless we will not win the league or any other competition! Mediocre players are too many, Pepe! Lokonga! Nelson! etc!
It sounds like Pepe thinks he holds all the cards. Saying he wants a similar salary to what he's on, when he's no longer deserving of that, means he may end up with nowhere to go. Meanwhile he's forcing us to give him a big golden handshake or he won't agree to end his contract with us, as he knows he won't be in a position to ask for a similar salary from other clubs one we terminate his contract. We might end up either have to keep him until his contract expires, or pay him his full salary to the end of his contract plus some, to get him to terminate the contract. We can't win in this situation.
Brighton messed us about a lot, so I'd have no issues with gazumping them for Kudus.

Felix falling out with the manager and throwing his toys out of the pram is not someone MA and Edu would be interested in, as they put a lot of emphasis on getting players with the right temperament, no big ego's and no throwing toys out of the pram.

Sorry the sales are just poor and Edu and co aren’t blameless. Look at the Auba situation, you even see it in the doc with him saying he can’t get a fee. Arteta isn’t blameless either when it comes to players values dropping. We have so much work to do in this area.
