The reason people draw Darwin in this failure of a player picture is because for some reason he was directly compared to halaand since day one so when people look at the respective numbers of these 2 players after the first season due to Darwin being placed in this direct competition against halaand they say he is a failure
The only reason Darwin gets crapped on is due to the timing of his signing, he was brought in the same season Haaland arrived, there was the whole who will have a better season right from day 1.
Mane didn't have this sort of comparison battle in his first season.
Liverpool fans and the media heaped the pressure on Nunez by comparing him to Erling Haaland. Now he has to deliver.
14 goals and played way less minutes than mane

Absolutely crazy comparison. Mane was never a striker in his first season, 14 goals was actually pretty good for a winger at the time. You are suppose to compare Nunez with Origi. Thats right, thats who he has replaced. Luis Diaz should be compared to Sadio Mane.

Darwin is a victim of Haaland comparison. He'll settle and begin to show his true capabilities. The raw talent is there to see.

Mane played for Southampton. Nunez came from Benfica. Mane was a great player. For me, he was the best player in the last 5 years for us. Nunez scored 14 goal and he played half of the Mane minutes. You right raig. i am 100% with you now.
