Aaron Ramsey has signed a two-year deal with Cardiff City, his boyhood club, where he started his professional career 16 years ago. His seven-year-old son, Sonny, also signed a contract with the club’s academy on the same day. Ramsey expressed his delight at returning to Cardiff and said he owed a lot to the club, the fans and everyone who was there when he was a young boy coming through. The midfielder made 28 first-team appearances for Cardiff before moving to Arsenal in 2008, where he spent the next 11 years.
