Caceido the main target at all cost
When Lampard was playing, he was the consummate box to box midfielder averaging almost a goal in every 3 games. I just don’t understand Chelsea’s obsession with Caicedo or Ugarte. I get it that we are looking for a DM but Chalobah can easily fill this role. We don’t have a midfielder that can even score 8 goals a season like James Maddison. Caicedo has a better tackling rate at 2.87 per game with a 80% success rate while Ugarte non Premiership stats are already averaged. He has a very high tackling rate at 4.63 per game but with only a 68% success rate and it came at the cost of 11 yellow cards this season. At over 65 mil, Todd never learned from his Cucurella and W. Fofana ‘s experience of overpaying for average players. Ugarte is just going to be Kovacic’s replacement who is going to put in an odd goal and assist for the season
