      Whilst Mbappe is an incredible footballer and is as close as we’ll see to Thierry Henry, there’s no way that signing happens nor should we break our backs to bring it about.

      If we theoretically did get him his ego would disrupt the existing group we have, it would shatter our wage budget & he’d be moaning about leaving for Real Madrid every summer.. He’s had numerous issues with team mates ever since he left Monaco, both for PSG and France. That said the idea & football would be beautiful

      Tom, is Sergio Ramos destined for Saudi?

      I remember us being linked a couple times in the past, his champions league experience & leadership qualities could make him a really good fit. Could be our Thiago Silva signing on a free even if he is a walking red card

      Sad to miss the live stream but – yes I would go for Mbappé I would also see if we could use Balogun to relieve the expense (maybe to £100m), the catch is what we lose… I could accept Xhaka KT Runarsson Pepe AMN Cedric Holding but Lakonga Trusty & Tavares would have to stay and make the difference.

      Mornin Tom from central Florida! I love the touch on Cedric because I was about to comment “can we hear more on any Cedric news?” LOL. No way Cancelo has any chance of coming if Cedric stayed. He needs to go.

      I would spend any amount of money to bring in Mbappe because Arsenal would have our own world class striker. But he wanted to go to Real Madrid for years and Arsenal cant compete with Real Madrid

      While crazy to suggest, KM hasn’t been tested at a high level over 38 games. While the probability is that he will do well in the Prem, there is no’s guarantee he’s up for the tough tackling and relentlessness of the Prem.

      Where KM has already shone is in tournament play — WC, UCL. But unless MA wants to go for the UCL next, it might not be worth the trade off for increasing overall squad depth and quality to just sign KM. Otherwise we’ll hand upon an Alexis Sanchez-rest or squad contrast yet again.

      That said, if KM is up for the culture emphasis, the project, is even willing to loosen and reduce his financial demands, I’d say why not. But I don’t see many players go the way of Bergkamp when he joined.

      KM to City would be a big boost to them. As would Liverpool but given they gave up on Bellingham, it doesn’t seem probable. Madrid would be the boring obvious choice. Though I won’t rule out United given their propensity to splurge, or if the takeover is completed. Chelsea only if KM and his family are willing to look past what happened before.

      Jesus Christ, I know Arsenal fans are delusional – but this one takes the biscuit.
      Have you heard the news? Qatar now own Manchester United, that is the ONLY Premier League club with ANY chance of signing Mbappe.
      Newcastle have got more chance than Arsenal.

      Defo not signing Mbappe. Not only he may not fit into Arteta’s tactics, Huge transfer fee + gobsmacking salary demand means putting all Edu and Mikels’ previous effort to reshape the wage structure and team’s personality balance in the drain. Buying him is like risking all for 1 or 2 years title challenge. This proves no sense in a club’s stability. Stupid move.

      If Arsenal get Rice and still has $150 to spare he should go for Mbappe with him on the starting line up the defences will be torn apart before the game even begins

      I love Mbappe! We need to fill out the depth in our squad. I get so tired of people saying he would be trouble and bring a bad attitude. We do not truly know what happened behind the scenes at PSG. Honestly it seems that everyone including coaches, and the GM (sporting director) were problematic as well. The best thing for Mbappe, a young guy who is impressionable (and had monster personalities and perhaps the biggest personality ever in Neymar smh) is for him to get away from that place because it seems toxic. He would have to be the only signing of the a summer window after we are stacked everywhere else.

      No on Mbappe. We need too many other positions filled. He’s the sort of signing we can consider in 2024/2025, when we only add one or two players.

      Mbappe is a nope for me. Nope nope nope nope. He's the kind of personality that we have worked to remove from the club over the past 3 years under Arteta. His defensive numbers are abysmal, though that could simply be the system PSG employ to get the most out of him. Also, we just gave Saka, our star academy talent and talisman, a £300k/w contract (assuming all bonuses are met). There's no way Mbappe would take a pay cut to come here, so he would be on more than DOUBLE the wages of our highest payed player. Nope. Nope nope nope. Nope nope nope nope nope.

      I don't wanna see Mbappe anywhere near Arsenal. He's a great player, but I don't need the drama. I prefer to have a healthy team chemistry over having a superstar.

      Tom hope you’re well. As I always have said we needed to replace arteta and bring in Conte when we had 10 games to go like any winning club would do in that position. But hey, it’s my opinion for how to win. I still think Matt Turner isn’t great as a second keeper – I hope you’re well.

      Mbappe going Spanish league is easy and boring however playing for Real Madrid guarantees you a champions league cup. If mbappe wants to show how great he is he should come premier league and arsenal is best team for him however he would have to work harder off the ball and come down on the wages

      I'm a Fluminense fan, Martinelli hasn't been good at all, our shiny gems right now are Alexsander, who's a CM/LB, likes playing in the mold of Zinchenko, and André, the best DM in Brazil by a mile. Martinelli isn't a full starter anymore.

      While tempting, Mbappe brings too much ‘it’s all about me!’ French drama a la Anelka , Saliba, Koscielny, Aubameyang, Guendouzi…a circus that would ultimately derail and destabilise our dressing room.

      Look if he wants to play for Mikel Arteta and adopt the clubs Philosophy and believes that he can be successful with this project then sure but Mbappe can disrupt the camp which is a step back.
