  1. โ€œWeahโ€ ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ท, your father is legendary! He is the greatest African soccer star of all time! If I was the U.S. Coach, you are starting and we are going to push you! You will make us proud! ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ

  2. I love your humility Tim Weah, and acknowledging the role of your parents in your upbringing. Go make us all proud in Qatar (& beyond)! We love you Weah! Love from Canada via Uganda.

  3. Thatโ€™s absolutely wild, his father George Weah is the sitting president of Liberia and his son, whom is incredibly gifted in football, represents another country can you imagine if U.S. president Joe Bidenโ€™s son represented MOROCCO? Thatโ€™d be absolutely absurd. The fact alone that the son of probably the best African footballer of all time is representing America is one thing, but the sitting presidentโ€™s son doesnโ€™t represent the country he presides over? No wonder Africa remains behind who would ever want to invest in such a place? Not that I even blame Timothy, I think he did what was in his best interest but thatโ€™s the problem, how can someone say they believe in improving his country and that people should come and live yet send his love ones else where, unless we believe in Africa as Americans believed in their country when it was developing Africa will never catch up

  4. Such a pity that this dude is playing for US. For crying out loud, not only is your dad objectively the best African player to kick the ball, one of the top 30 players in the history of the sport, he is the freaking president of a country and you choose to play for another? Talking about your ancestors fighting slavery, are you not spitting in their faces by playing for the descendants of the same people that enslaved them?

  5. The legacy of the last name is awesome. I love that kind of stuff, their are many mental and spiritual advantages with being in touch and honoring your ancestors.
