If Maddison wants to play for Spurs lets move on and look at other options this transfer has taken too long to get over the line. Far better players in the market for the same money or less.

The local & national newspapers like to create headlines that will generate, curiosity, anger, or joy & of course it's all for clicks & likes because that in turn generates money. Now that sounds as if i'm stating the obvious, & i'am! that's because the obvious is alien to some on social media, ie, Twitter. The best thing to do is read between the lines, make up your own mind & then wait for the club to make an announcement. One thing that is clear from the media point of view is that they too are clueless & that's because the owners, ect, don't trust them! they tell them the square root of nothing.
So Geordies. Lets all just chill out & enjoy the summer.
Rabiot the wrong profile for us, he stinks of a mercenary. Franca would be my choice, sit him in next to Joelinton and Bruno and watch him fly. We need to follow a model like Napoli and find these hidden gems that will die for the club, and stick around through thick and thin.
I would go for Mario Ruiz from Napoli. 32 year ild would give us experience

The Maddison article written by Wilson fails to cite any source, credible or otherwise.
I fail to see how a Northern Echo journalist would have exclusive access to this information, so unless confirmed otherwise I’ll put that down to pure conjecture
I would expect the club are more aware of Maddison’s wishes than some North East reporters.
That may of course explain the reports of us being linked with many of the top European names.
Anyone would choose London over anywhere else in the country, assuming all other factors bein equal. No brainer

The fact that Spurs are even in the mix regarding Maddison, in my mind tells us to stay clear. His mind isn't set for Howe style football. He's got his mind set on the next big contract and a move to London, not to help develop our team. Let him go and go for someone who "wants" to play in our shirt.

Great Vid Paul! On the Saudi league buying all these players. I think it's a power grab that helps Newcastle. If the Saudi league splash all this cash it then ruins football economy and potentially mean UEFA might have to scrap FFP to to compete with them. Would be great for Newcastle!
