Still I feel we need to strengthen midfield by getting Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich to allow TAA play In the midfield . it's a stop gap measure panic thought that I reckon. though. we should be alright after newly incoming players settle downicely with existing players. probably achieving CL qualifications If not premier league.😊

Honestly speaking if we sign lavia i think we should consider CB coz we have bajcetic who impressed us and with trent playing midfield in pre season i think midfield is enough with curtis and elliot and maybe thiago
Lavia is good but not high level replacement for fabino and Henderson 😢, lavia need more experience to carry Liverpool at top level for title contenders. Tchoumani or Kimmich will be ideal replacement.

I don't really think we have to replace each and every player that left the club, a total of two new middle fielders will do on top of what we already have ( thiago, Trend,Stephen, Elliott, Curtis, Dominic and Mac allister ) then an addition of a two – footed centre back will be a bargain because He will cover more ground.

Craig, spot on about Chelsea vs Liverpool comparison. LFC looks much more stable, game time guaranteed, top manager, top fans. Also, if Lavia and Bajcetic strive – this could be our team core for generation. I think they could comply each other

Weve lost players sure. But Fabinho had a generally terrible season. Hendo was so slow and lost his passing skills. Curtis has raised his game and IS a very good option now ! Weve also gained a superb talent in Bajcetic. These 2 youngsters are both better than Naby Ox Milner. Arguably better than Fabinho and Hendo. Yes we do need 1 more after Lavia. But weve gained huge potential and options in these 2 great youngsters

Lavia is Keita Mk2. Runs around like a headless chicken with very little quality final product. If you've not got it by the age of 19/20, you're not getting it, even with the world's best coaches. The inherent ability and skill is something which is hard-wired. Lavia does not look like he has it, and hence why Citeh haven't taken up the option. They know already, or he'd be at the Emptihad now. Waste of a lot of money…..gone to Villa in 3yrs. We should have bit the bullet and bought Bellingham. This failed FSG-shopping-in-Poundland policy will haunt us for years. We'll get sooooo close, but won't quite get over the line because we lacked that little bit extra……don't believe me, just look back at recent history. The ONE time FSG spend big (admittedly only with the Coutinho money) was buying Virg and Alli, the two best in the world at the time, and we won the lot. Before and since, we've got so close (solely because of Jurgen's genuis) but missed it by a whisker, or in other words, that extra few mill saved buying the 2nd best, that would have bought us THE best when we needed it…… Groundhog Day, LFC-style.
