  1. This window is average.. what youd expect from mid table clubs.. hojlund and amrabat plus mount are really underwhelming šŸ˜…

  2. Couldn’t unsee Ste’s crooked glasses the whole video šŸ˜‚

Hope you’re enjoying the states and finding time to relax too. Cheers for the hard work and the content ā¤

  3. We're gonna have to rethink Jan Feb fixtures without Onana and him as the ACON is around that time every season (or seems to be every season for some reason, lol)
EDIT: I see that Onana has declared he'll not play for Cameroon again

  4. I couldn't agree more. This guy is gonna be huge for us for the next few years if we manage to get him over the line. I hope we somhow also find the place for Hannibal and Kobbie in the squad, which I think requires Fred, McTom and Donny getting sold.

  5. Amrabat is Declan Rice without the price tag. Quality deep lying playmaker that can make line breaking passes into the final third.
Not sure why Arsenal or now West Ham didn't go for him, but I'm happy they haven't.

  6. No evidence his defensive skills are better than his woeful club defenisve stats. Funny anyone using WC as an example especially Steve who "doesnt take anything from WC". This is prime example of Cherry Picking stats to suit an argument. Reduced chances to make a tackle doesn't impact your % success. Steve going from scout to PR man. šŸ˜‚. Decent but avg player and dont see him improving squad at all. Still rely on Mainoo to be back up to Casemiro.

  7. This is why data shouldnt be used as replacement for watching games and football knowledge. The way fiorentina manager plays. He pushes everyone up, leaving two cbs with amrabat drops in between. The only passes he could possibly make is mostly forward šŸ˜‚, this ā€œprogressive passesā€ and ā€œelite passerā€ you going on about. He is neither. He pings ball a lot that is correct but he doesnt do that under pressure, he does this scott parker 720 degree turn and when nobody closes him down he passes to nico gonzales the right winger or biraghi the left back most of the time. Picture a 433 liverpool with him instead of fabinho and you got 80-85 percent of how fiorentina plays. The space is all there for fabinho to pass forward by no means he is an elite passer. This screams someone who just reads data or doesnt know football šŸ˜‚

  8. 10 Bruno/Eriksen 8 Mount/Scotty 6 Casemiro/Amrabat So how are we bringing in Amrabat and losing Scotty? We need both. If we let Scotty go we will still need to replace him or who plays 8 if it's not Mount??

  9. Great as an 8. But i am not sure as a 6… maybe the reason that Christian can leave next season.

Casemiro is still destroyer in chief. Half Makelele; half Carrick

  10. Think our midfield looked strong in all of our pre season games up until we went to a 4 man midfield adding casemiro and eriksen. The strongest combination was against arsenal with Mount + Kobbie + Bruno. Casemiro injuring kobbie, not checking on him and going off to giggle with madrid players was odd. Amrabat comes in for casemiro as cover in a 3 man midfield as casemiro undiscipline leads to unavailability, in a 4 man midfield you put him in for erisken. You dont put to defensive minded DMs next to eachother.

  11. With major upgrades needed at Manchester United likewise when the stupid glazers took over back in 2005 and until 2013 them 8 years we did win most silverwears. But in the last 10 years 1 FA Cup 2 League Cups 1 Europa League. It's quite bad infact really stinky but then again whenever the day is when everything changes one day then we will see the light of the end of tunnel. But however complete pre season get the season to decent start should be ok. Because 23/24 will be very tough with City, Liverpool gonna be expected to be strong like never before. Chelsea will come hungry, Arsenal look good and Newcastle will be sneaking around it's gonna be hell of a ride this coming season.
