Was there any maturity issue with Dest? That's the first time I hear that. How about Frank Kessie?

Not many RBs in the world of football are able to defend like Dani Alves. We see cancelo and Trent all criticized for their defensive abilities. Even Kyle Walker hasn’t seen the team from Pep. It’s the same with dest but we need to see that attacking quality because let’s say xavi wants to do a back 3 with dest and balde as wing backs, it could really be explosive because dest is one of the fastest players in the world (he was second fastest in La liga when he played only behind dembele) and with the game modernizing. Full backs are not as defensively good as people want them to. I’m happy dest is getting another opportunity but let’s try a back 3 because it’ll make kounde happy, and also dest happy becauxe he has cover. Think about it like this, we can do a back 3 with Araujo kounde Christensen, then have the 5 (balde dest as wing backs) with Gundogon, Pedri (as a CAM) and de Jong then have dembele and Lewy up top. It’s a very exciting team because dest and balde provide width and attacking speed. While pedri and dembele provide creativity and then Lewy ofc poacher with the same 3 CBs that was the best in La liga. Time to modernize the game

Abde should get his chance. I've seen enough to know he has a place here. We've spent big money on many failed players. He's not even a risk.

I just think getting oriol as the pivot is cool the club is lacking money and we can’t actually get a top pivot even though oriol is a downgrade of what busi was but i dont think he’s actually brought here to provide much more creativity like busi he ll just sit at the top on the defence and be a destroyer so we can push gundogun,pedri and frenkie much higher to cause the damage

Xavi keeping Dest would be one of the better decisions he'll make this season, rather than playing Roberto and J.Araujo for the whole season.

Dest doesn't have Strength that is known, He needs to improve his tackling and Marking ability because he has Pace on his side unlike for example Alexander Arnold. Another thing I love about Dest and the reason I didn't want him to go to Bayern is his ability to Shoot and he has shot power aswell he is not panicking inside the 18yard and I remember when Dembele and Dest where playing on the Right hand side That combination was interesting to watch but that was under Koeman , This is Xavi and I hope he can Allow his formation to be flexible to allow Dembele especially Raphina to cut inside and let Dest overlap. My problem is had abde not been in barca…we would have been trying to sign him due to his excellent form. So why not keep him. He is a great talent!

It seems like we let go of good promising players only to fight to sign them back a few years later.

It's all well and good for Abde to cut his holiday short, but denying himself a rest may put his body at risk of injury, and that won't help his plans to impress Xavi or the team in the long term.
