  1. He’s shown a great amount of character to stick around and 100% deserves every bit of praise he’s getting now. It’s also testament to the atmosphere that Arteta has created at the club and to his tactical brain. He’s tweaked the attacking shape to allow Xhaka to get forward which is where he’s at his best

  2. He's got better for two reasons:
    1) Sorted his head out – no more stupid yellow and red cards.
    2) Playing in a different position, further forward.

  3. It was that interview at the end of last season I believe after the spurs game or maybe thr Newcastle game can’t remember which where he called out his team mates for not being ready and scared and those who r should go home. That interview was the turning point showed how much it meant to him

  4. Funny how other clubs are sniffing around edu now…where as before pundits were slating him plus on current form I would take Saliba all day van dyke has been found out plus rudiger is a much better all round defender than van dyke too

  5. The thing is he was never a bad player. He just wasn't scoring and/or assisting every game because he was being played in DM.

When he threw the armband on the floor I stood with his decision to do that. Our fans were toxic.

Whenever he got carded I stood by him because it was just his passion overspilling his own discipline.

He's always been one of the best passers in our team (stats wise) andif you played all of his ball interactions from last season and the season before you'd see nothing but class passing and never say die attitude.

Shame on all of you who doubted him. You just don't know what football is.

  6. They have Bob hope of winning 😂 Jesus 5 goals in 800 odd minutes Nunez 4 goals in 400 odd minutes.. one’s a flop an one’s the best signing of the season pahahaha 😂

  7. Never heard so much garbage in my life… So Xhaka had a hissy fit come off the pitch crowd booed him, he is hardly going to cry and walk out on his contract?? In the course of your career, it's not always plain sailing and the crowd at any team always loves a pantomime villain as long as he is a good player… As for Arsenal being brave etc they are a good side will finish 2nd and will beat Leeds at the w/end

  8. Xhaka was played in the wrong positions for years. It’s like playing Haaland on the wings. I don’t blame him for the Arsenal saga. When you have fans wishing cancer on his kids and always insulting him in social media, it takes a toll on you psychologically. You not even sure if your family is safe. Glad he has turned it around!

  9. The moral of the story here is: – stick by your players.

The managers obviously did, but the moronic fans will turn on and scapegoat you in a heartbeat, instead of doing what fans are supposed to do and getting behind you.

Glad the manager and Xhaka knuckled down and basically ignored them all.

All those jumping on the bandwagon now when you wanted the guy out and booed him, ought to be ashamed to call yourselves fans, simple as.
