Two first-half goals condemned us to defeat in the second match of our U.S. Tour.

In the first-ever meeting between the teams on American soil, 82,262 supporters were inside the MetLife Stadium, but we failed to get going after Manchester United opened the scoring through Bruno Fernandes’ long-range strike on the half-hour. Jadon Sancho doubled the lead soon afterwards and although Eddie Nketiah came close in the second-half, we tasted defeat for the first-time this close season.

  1. I strongly believe that Arsenal is in dire need of a proficient striker who can consistently score goals. The current options, Jesus and Nketiah, have not demonstrated the level of skill required for us to succeed in both the EPL and Champions League this season. Alternatively, Arteta should consider modifying the team's formation to ensure that Jesus and Nketiah receive a steady supply of passes to increase their goal-scoring opportunities. As it stands, they need to be more involved in the game to maximise their goal-scoring potential, or else Arteta's tactics might prove ineffective.

Additionally, another crucial aspect to address is the acquisition of a new goalkeeper who can compete with Ramsdale. Presently, our goalkeeper appears too complacent, believing there are no consequences for errors. However, signing a top-quality goalkeeper would create healthy competition, motivating everyone to perform at their best.

As a lifelong supporter of Arsenal, I wish the team the best of luck. I'll remain a Gunner for life and hope for positive changes that lead to success on the field.

  2. So according to Arteta it will need about 50 games for our midfield trio to gell and he will keep playing same three in middle. Well if he does that and keeps playing havertz then i am sure we will end up with no trophies and mid table, one positive would be that will be end of Arteta and his fan boys.

  3. Fact is Arteta is tactically almost eveytime found out when he comes up against good managers. Our deluded fan base just dont see it and hype him into oblivion, most even said he is better then klopp πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Now we are in CL u will see how other quality managers just run rings around Arteta like pep, klopp have been doing for years n now even Ten Hag has joined in.

  4. Same old Arsenal. How many times over the years have we seen Arsenal dominate against Man Utd but lose to goals in transition. It's an astonishing trend that has held up over many, many years. No reason to think it will be any different this season.

  5. Our needs 2 strong strikers , Balogun must stay, let Veira, Muhammad Eleny , Eddie Nke be sold, one black πŸ–€ striker (My Mbappe) and❀ white striker.if arsenal boss or management has money then borrow from Emirates airlines , this season we don't want more excuses, Real Madrid, Barcelona,Man United – Man city buys good stars and they won trophies, arsenal cries with babies.

  6. Frustrating.. there was Very poor performances all over the pitch .. some players were almost non existent.. have to work much much harder than that

  7. LOL listen to you folks one friendly game loss and you already think you're an expert and even sang praises to ManU manager LOL. Let's keep the faith, trust the process, and keep encouraging the team they're on an upward trajectory if you care to study how they've gone from strength to strength since Arteta's appointment.

  8. Why was there a penalty shoot out after a 2-0 win? Just to confuse the Americans even more than they already are about football?

  9. I think losing this game has a greater benefit than winning it, Gabriel and Ramsdale should have done better, we know that and they know that. Tactically i think ETH knew exactly what to expect from Arteta but im not quite sure what Arteta expected from ETH but it's a very good game to learn from for Arteta, i think he's trying to do something different which on paper looks good but putting that into practice may prove challenging. For United, i don't think they've changed anything at all, they set up the same way as they did last season, they relied heavily on Rashford and i expect the same for the incoming season.

  10. Jesus christ is coming back. Reject him and you'll regret it,
Repent and beleive the gospel jesus loves you.

  11. Arsenal's inability to bring players that bring something different would cost us a lot.
Creative midfielders/influencers are lacking in the team.

  12. We can see, Arsenal this season will get a challenge like this in the prem. If we can not score, than it will be huge problem. If Arteta can see this, please get another Striker who able to score 30 goals a season. Someone like Mbappe.

  13. I think man city are going to have stronger opposition this time. Man u and arsenal along with teams like Chelsea Spurs Villa Newcastle can make the season very interesting.
I m convinced that if Tierney had played in his normal position throughout last season with the more adaptable Zinchenko being utilised in midfield Arsenal would have won the league. They didn t so it s all supposition on my part.

  14. I always ask myself if Arteta sees Maghalaes mistakes and how much Ramsdale is not good keeper enough!!! I think if he plays Kiwiro and bench Maghalaes and bring us better keeper we can win trophies, '' it's my opinion as a fan.
