Junior Hoilett is Canada's best player, even on the A team, to take great corner shots on a consistent basis.
Borjan wasn't injured, he went to Slovakia and played and started for Slovan during the Conference League Qualies
Hoilett and Laryea are probably the only two veterans, barring form of course, that I really want to see still there in 2026, as they're the only 2 who I think could make it to the World Cup and actually contribute significantly.
Ahmed should be in the starting 11 by 2026; he's close to that good already, he could get there by 2026 if given the right development to do so.
Shaffelburg should be a bench warmer in 2026 and be taken under Davies' wing. His pace and accuracy reminded me of an early Davies at Vancouver. He deserves to be developed to his fullest potential and be a massive contribution in clutch moments.
