      Havertz has game. Just shaking off the Chelsea mentality. That UCL trophy was man city losing it rather than chelsea winning it.

      I am surprised how few people talk about the midfield trio with Jorhinho – Rice – Ødegaard. Perfect balance. Jorginho can control the pace on the ball. His football intelligence is highly underrated, and sad to hear this conversation about it being a drop off to play Jorginho in this system. I think Rice is the key to liberate Jorhinho and Ødegaard. I think definitely Rice will play a lot in the 8 position. Havertz can cover positions up front, and will not be used in the 8 position all the time. In fact Havertz can work much better up front in Arsenal than Chelsea with better wingers and the creative Ødegaard.

      The jorginho slander for me is crazy…how many teams on the planet city included have a player as good as jorginho to call upon as a backup 6?

      The team is evolving, the 8 role that Xhaka played doesnt seem to exist anymore. They are playing wide 8s, Odegard shifts outside and allows the goals scoring wingers to come one lane inside and get involved in goal. Its like a double floating 8 but they float wide and the wingers come inside lane. Just for one game dont watch the ball, watch the team move and youll see it. Ode was right touchline in the Nurmberg game and so was Havertz.

      The way I look at this now is we should get lavia so for the season he can develop in the cups and be partey’s understudy and then next season he can make that position his

      James is obsessed with Rice being the 8. Despite multiple times Arteta has named Rice as a 6. Also, Jorginho is being too disrespected by Turkish.

      Annoying how people downplay how good Kieran Tierney actually is. Never hear anyone mention what an engine he is.

      That interview was revealing. Shows why Arteta values versatility. Don't think his mind is made up where any of our new signings will play. He'll work with them, trial things and play them in different roles and never settle on where a player belongs. Definitely Pep's influence.
