Wayne Hennessey was pictured with his right arm in the air and left hand above his mouth in a photo posted on Instagram by German team-mate Max Meyer after Palace’s FA Cup win over Grimsby on 5 January.

Hennessey denied the charge and said any resemblance to the Nazi gesture was “absolutely coincidental”.

  1. In the highly unlikely event that you are watching Wayne, here is what you do:

    1. Admit it and say you were dumb.
    2. Large donation to a relevant charity.
    3. Donate your labour and your time as a volunteer to raise awareness and combat discrimination in football.

Football is in the dark ages.

  2. James is wearing the National kit of Belgium where the yellow represents Duchy of Brabant, a state of the holy Roman Empire. The Romans kept slaves.
By true geordie's logic, James is endorsing Slavery.

  3. Also he was with the palace squad and palace have a german player so maybe thats a point that people should discuss about ( i dont have an opinion cuz im a palace fan so it would be bias)

  4. When they say Hennessey was quizzed about the Nazis to see if he actually didn't know anything I can't help but think of that scene from the Sopranos where Junior has to practice pretending he has dementia
