Wayne Hennessey Red Card was sent off for tackle on Taremi | Iran Vs Wales 2-0 | FIFA world cup Wales keeper Hennessey sees first red card of World Cup against Iran. Wales keeper Wayne Hennessey was sent off in the Group B match against Iran, becoming the first player to see a red card in the Qatar World Cup. In the 85th minute, Iran’s Mehdi Taremi broke clear of the Wales defence and was making a run towards the Wales goal. Sensing inevitable danger, Hennessey came off his line and bundled Taremi off the ball, taking out the player in the process. He initially saw a yellow card for the incident, but VAR had a look at the incident and after the referee had looked at the monitor, he overturned his initial decision and changed the yellow card to a red. Hennessey was replaced by Danny Ward between the sticks and Aaron Ramsey was the player who was sacrificed by head coach Rob Page. wales vs iran iran, wales vs iran live world cup 2022 world cup iran vs wales wales vs iran world cup 2022 wales, wales vs iran highlights wales vs iran 2022 fifa world cup 2022 wales world cup, wales iran wales vs iran live streaming iran vs wales world cup 2022 wales vs iran fifa world cup 2022 wales vs iran world cup qatar 2022 wales vs iran football fifa world cup iran vs wales highlights iran world cup

  2. What the hell was he thinking? He must have known by now that that kind of tackle is not permitted and is dangerous too. He shouldn't have been surprised to be sent off tbh. Silly boy!
