The most expensive player's in the history of the PL before Rice were, Enzo Fernandez, Grealish, Lukaku, Pogba, Antony, Maguire, Van Dijk, Sancho, Pepe and Kepa. Most of that list have struggled. And I think Rice will also for the first couple of years purely because of the price tag hanging around his neck.
