I donโt get it this gvardiol hype, I remember seeing 35 year old messi shred the guy to pieces and he conceded 7 goals in ucl. He ainโt worth 100m, heโs the next Maguire and fofuna.
Gvardiol is, if not the best ball carrying defender in the world.. Aside his Defensive skills, he's got insane dribbling skills, football IQ of an Midfielder, and the vision for passing..

Hate that people are saying Pep will make Gvardiol better as if heโs not one of the best defenders in world football currently even at his age already. I actually think Pep will try to turn him into a midfielder and I hate that. I think itโs okay for a player to stick to his natural position and excel at or rather than be used as a versatility player.

Real Madrid gave Modric the same contract, in actuality…. he's getting a worse contract because RM give less as a player ages more. Modric never asked for more & the contract was on the table to Modric, Real Madrid didn't mind if he renews or goes to Saudi for big money as they feel that a legend like Modric deserves to do what ever he wants.

The difference with man city's transfer targets is that they never have to fight for them. A player is targeted, we get a few days of sorting the price and contract out and then he arrives. There's never any serious competition for city, as no one can compete and no doubt they'll get their targets. They are so bad for football and so underhand it's untrue.
