I like the way he talks, Hard-working really needs to be number 1 priority for any blades signing. A lot of foreign players just don't want to put in the graft. That can work for the big clubs, but it's never going to work for us. As Wilder used to say, we need to battle for every point at this level. Just 2 or 3 players coasting in a match will probably mean a defeat. We need to sign more foreigners, absolutely because it's where the value is, but they need to be the right ones. Very early days, but he's saying the right things and doesn't come across like a fancy dan show-pony.
Many players have been told they are not good enough and had to work really hard to make it, these make proper players in my eyes and know you are getting a really hard working player
