I think in a 4-3-3 I'd put Adams in the center to give him the ability to roam from side to side. Generally he'd sit deeper on offense. Put McKennie on the right and allow him to go box to box. Put Roca or, depending on how Leeds want to play versus the opponent, perhaps someone more offensively minded on the left. Or could have McKennie on the right, Adams and Roca in the middle and Harrison on the left with Rutter and Rodrigo up top in a sort of 4-4-2 4-3-3 Hybrid, allowing Harrison to push up and drop back. I think adding McKennie to versatile players like Aaronson, Gnonto, and Rutter would give a lot of flexibility. The trick would be finding the best fits out of the greater possibilities.
This is also a money move. Having Aaronson, Adams and McKennie on the team will make Leeds one of the most popular teams in the Premier League. That's a lucrative market to tap into.
McKennie will help a lot on set pieces. He's excellent in the air.
Wes is athletic for a guy his size and one of his strengths are getting goals from set pieces. Great analysis Max, love it!

Fuckin Hell how could ya not? Had been hearing some rumors about Arsenal, not seeing him getting regular minutes there. Leeds a much better fit..Brendan is better suited on the wings imo, and he 100% needs a break, couldn't agree more.

Forget McKennie. Leeds will never match the asking price. We all know where he's gonna end up.
I think I think formation will 100% change. Maybe something similar to what the US did during the WC with Adams on the pivot with mckennie on the right and Roca on the left

Jesus, next Pulisic will be heading to Leeds. Well, I guess Spain did it with Barcelona and Germany with Bayern, so a club national team had been done, just not in a foreign country, to my knowledge. Also, don't put "soccer" in quotation marks like it's a foreign word: it's an English abbreviation for association football and you know it.
It's funny when people say "all these americans" blah blah blah. It's just insecurity. The fact is that these American players (especially adams and mckennie) are better in their positions than anyone on leeds. If it weren't for Jesse leeds wouldn't have gotten Tyler. And if it weren't for Tyler, you wouldn't be getting mckennie. Because he is honestly better than leeds. But what this does is level up leeds to another tier within the PL. And say it were to attract players like pulisic or other American players that would drastically increase the quality of the team. At that point who cares where they come from. It's time for fans to get over it and accept that American players are getting better and better.
He's more of what we already have in midfield – all action runners. We desperately need a midfield player with guile, who can control the pace of the game (in the McAllister / Sheridan mould), rather than the chaotic non stop running player we seem to specialise in.
I’ve been thinking about formations and I really love your choice of 4 3 3 it suites our players a lot . Though I do wish we could play the 4 1 2 1 2 just to see Rutter and Rodrigo up top or Rodrigo and Bamford or Rutter and Bamford. This do however mean we’d miss out on the likes of gnonto, Sinisterra and Summerville when he’s back.
We’re paying 30 million euros and I say it’s worth it. Maybe we should only pay 20 – 25 however he will add so much more to the team than people actually think, I believe this move will also benefit Roca as he’s been having to do mckennies job for a while now. We can now let Roca stick to doing what he does best.

He's a starter when healthy this season. But it's not necessarily at cm. Sometimes it's right mid. Last weekend it was rwb then up to cm.
He's got goals in him. Something the current leeds cm don't have. He's also good in the air. He's very skilled and a very elegant player.
Both allegri and pirlo have rated him highly at a club with a huge pedigree and a ton of current internationals. But he's a luxury there they can't afford with pogba coming back and leeds knows hell sell shirts. It was only time til an epl team exploited the American market.
We should sign Chris Richards from Palace.

I've been wanting a reason to follow a premier league team. This is it. How can I watch the games from the States?
I get a kick out of Brits who use air quotations and their best facsimile of an American accent when they use the word, "soccer".
First off, Americans aren't the only ones who use that word. The Irish, Canadians, Australians, and New Zealanders all say "soccer".
Second, the word itself is English in origin – feel free to look that up, if you don't believe me. If "soccer" grates on your ears, my English friends, you've got no one to blame but your own great grandparents.
With that said, Weston is a great signing for Leeds. Terrific all around midfielder, tenacious defender, good to very good on the ball, strong passer, legitimate threat to score both from distance and in the box… What's more, he's got the right mental make-up for a city like Leeds.
