    Newcastle have signed midfielder Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon for £40m, the Magpies agreed a package of £33.3m plus around £6.5m in add-ons with the French club.

      Liverpool fan here. After being entertained by Newcastle over the years with a similar city to ours I am happy for the fans!! Obviously I dont want any more rivals but if there was going to be anyone who deserved it its them.

      I think mark delivered his piece very well, he spoke highly enough of the player to remind us all he is a human being and you can only imagine the instant sense of pressure he will feel in wanting to help keep this club up, never the less highly excited to see what Bruno can bring to the the rest of the premier league season!

      Dont think he is good enough for a top team so hes went there. Hes been scouted by eddie howe ha ha come off it man there way is just go after anyone mentioned on sky sports

      Looks like Newcastle are getting serious. They will stay up & it will be interesting to see who comes in in the summer. Maybe next year they can push towards getting into Europe.
