  1. His stats don't exactly flatter him, and I won't claim to have watched him all season, but from his performances at the World Cup and the few clips I've seen, he looks like a great secondary option in cup games, replacing Casemiro to give him a rest.

Much better defensively than McTominay, and shows more composure than Fred.

  2. His defensive stats are due to how his team plays. In Fiorentina, they enjoy high possession and not much opportunity to defend while in the National team, they counter attack and defend deeper so his defensive qualities become more apparent.

  3. Why aren't we looking at Maxence Caqueret who has a Verratti like style. Someone who's constantly pressing the ball, fairly press resistant and a good passer. He's also proven himself against the good teams in crucial games and possibly has a high ceiling. Dortmund usually look for diamonds in the dust which is why they're interested in such a fantastic player. Missing gems like Timber, Kudus or Caqueret only costs us the competitive edge we need.

  4. Amrabat would be an excellent back up D.M and alternative C.M which is what we need.We have no one in our squad with his skillset in terms of press resistance and passing ability combined with a level of physicality. This is the type of unheralded signing fergie would make and get us closer to a title.

    Amrabat
    Mount
    Onana
    Hjolund

Would be a good window it would all but help us secure top 4 and go deep in the cups. With the addition of smart sales to balance the books it can help us go big next year remember guys it's a 3 year plan

  5. I would love to see Amrabat at United, and I think he wouldn't just be an option if Casemiro needs a rest or is suspended. I think he would play some games in the #6 position instead of Casemiro, but also I think he would play some games in the Mount/Eriksen position. And it's more than likely Casemiro would need to be used more and more spareingly over the next few seasons with Amrabat potentially stepping up to be the first choice DM. His age profile is pretty perfect for this, since he could "hold us over" until we know what Kobbie Mainoo is really gonna be all about in a couple of years. The only issue I have with signing him is that maybe getting another midfielder ,after already spending half our budget on Mount, has a lower priority than getting a new GK and CF and maybe even a CB. But 25M seems like a really good deal, so I sure hope we can scrounge up some money from the petty cash fund or something. lol

  6. if we can get onana and one striker and still have money, i think it will be good to have him in the squad. and this is just popped in my mind, maybe sometime he can play as back up right CB or even right WB and inverted in middle game 👀

  7. He is definitely a big upgrade for Scott McTomanny as a squad player, I would take him on a heart beat, in couple seasons he can learn from Csamiro .

  8. I would love Amrabat at United. He reminds me of Carrick in a way he just eludes pressure and makes simple passes reliably. I have ptsd after watching fred pass chaotically or mctominay hiding from the ball.

  9. Amrabat is the kind of signing that would convince me that United are a completely different club now.

  10. I would say Amrabat has the attributes to be a Frenkie De Jong type midfielder, a little bit more polish from Ten Hag could bring that out. Good in possession, press resistant, has the attributes to become box to box, good passer, good energy and tenacious, solid defensively. What is not to like about this player. He always seems to stand out in games
