He suits a team without possession who don’t want to dominate games but catch teams on the break and sit low. He can’t play out, has no pace and doesn’t read danger well at all.

Maguire had one good season playing for Leicester when they won the PL and England United didn’t do due diligence on him and paid 45m more than he was actually worth based on that one season. United got to stop paying stupid wages for average players. Southgate has to drop him
Maguire will thrive in italy. Some players just cant hack it in quicker pace league. Honestly i dont rate maguire at all but if you see skriniar, acerbi, de vrij, smalling, bonnuci, ibanez, rrahmani, these players arent better than maguire. People will say huh bonucci and skriniar? Watch one full game of them and they’re as clumsy as maguire. The system protects them better. Everytime Harry has come on, be it 10 or 20 minutes, he's done a good job. He's strong and good in the air. I know the weakneess of course, but he serves a purpose. I hope we keep him as a backup 🤷♂️
