Terrible decision to bring him back. We got a better performance with a stand in coach vs Mexico than we ever got under Berhalter. I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed. 😑
I hope they do. They need each other. I think they both have learned a lot in these past few months.
Gio Reyna went cryingto mom and dad, and stood by while mommy and daddy tried to blow up soccer in the united states. He is a pu#*y of the highest order, and should be banned from playing football in America for life. Let him go to Europe or south America, where he will have to rely on his own exertions to make it, and not on mom,dad, and an i-phone. I am know fan of berhalter, but he didn't deserve this
nope, the Reyna's actions cannot be undone.
Berhalter was right to go with the MMA midfield and to discipline Reyna for acting like a spoiled brat. With that said, he's just not a good coach. The team has looked better under both interim managers.
It kind of doesn't matter, this drama is just going to hang over US Soccer for as long as Gregg is manager. Everything decision will be second guessed. Every poor result will be made about personal relationships.
These two need to be grownups and take care of business. Make the parents wait in the car. This isn’t AYSO
Gio Reyna is going to wind up like Jaelene Hinkle: He will get call ups. But, he will not be put into anything prominent. And, Hinkle got excluded for far less than Reyna will. This relationship will make Debbie Keller and Anson Dorrance look like a picnic long term. This will not end well for Reyna.
Why does the usmnt get a pass on not taking their a squad to the gold cup, We used to take our best to this tournament, and the country gets an opportunity to see this team.
I say fire everyone and start from scratch. Bring in Sylvester Stallone to coach because he was pretty good in goal in Victory.
Unnecessary drama bringing him back just to make Pulisic happy. There's better coaches than Berhalter, he's an average coach, look at his coaching record.
