Stinks of players agents fabricating rumours to get a big juicy payday !!! Its probably inevitable that the likes of Danilo, gw, Johnson will move on at some point, but not yet, 2–3 seasons with us then cash in big time, reinvest it in quality young players, i think thats acceptable good business for forest. I think Dennis is worth keeping tbh, we didn't see the best of him because of our style of play last season, he's worth anorher chance. Only player worth sighning from leeds is gnonto imo, not overly fussed about adams or Rodriguez, we already have as good if not better.

Completely talking out of your arse in regard to Brighton. Any debt, is owed to Tony Bloom and includes building the stadium and elite training ground . The 1st 2 seasons a lot of money was spent upgrading the squad ( most was sh*t though, like Forest) Then Covid hit which had big losses for EPL teams. If you think Forest are any different In what they spend, you’re clueless. MGW cost more than Brighton’s record signing after they’d been in the EPL for 5 seasons. Forest need to sell players to finance new signings and if their owner stumps up the cash, what’s the difference? The money has come from somewhere, just TB doesn’t give it away ( though whether he’d want it back is another matter) Brighton have the 2nd lowest wage bill in the EPL; so yet again, where is the money coming from to pay Forest’s wages? Southampton and their model worked perfectly well until the owner died, his daughter took over and then the club has been sold twice. Leicester is exactly the same, an owner dies and his son wasn’t really interested. Man Utd are a billion in debt btw. Brighton know what players they will be selling a year ahead and replace them before they go. Mitoma will go next summer, already replaced by Adringa. Forest aren’t big enough or generate enough income to compete and if you stop players moving to ‘big’ clubs, others won’t join. Thinking that Forest are no different from the other 13-14 clubs and aren’t a feeder club is exceptionally naive.

I'm not convinced with gnoto yes hes a good young player but are his stats really that good in the final third? Not really he doesnt assist many and he doesnt score an awful lot. If Forest are serious about being an established Prem club, they need to keep Danilo, Feliepe, Scarpa,Johnson andMGW at an absolute minimum and be ADDING quality to the squad, not selling our best assets.

Ultimately, we all want him to stay but if a club playing European football comes knocking and willing to dish out big money then it gets difficult regardless of 6 year contract. Once a players head gets turned and agents start getting in players ears then it becomes a matter of time. You can bat it off for a window or a season but at some point it happens. It's a sign of progress though and we've already had the Johnno thing, now Danilo and fully expect MGW at some point. It's happened plenty in the past with our best players: Keane, Collymore etc. and it's horrible to see them go but if players really do get to that top top level then they'll be off at some point unless we can get ourselves as a top 6 club.
