A pretty exciting signing (hopefully). He is a bit of a flapper by the looks of it though. Almost no keepers place an emphasis on actually catching the ball these days, including David. It infuriates me. That was rule no. 1 when I was little kid playing football but the culture has changed an awful lot in England. Everyone wants to be Jorge Campos now (for reasons unknown).

I don’t think he’ll be an upgrade as far as shot stopping, but claiming more crosses and elite distribution will make up for that. I do think there’s a chance he is a flop though, the PL might really punish him for being so bold. Time will tell.
