Kwai Chang Caine would be very disappointed.
shaolin rules!!! go china!!!
All that shaolin monk work and still lost. Lmfao
Shaolin monk not use kung fu. π€¨π€¨π€¨π€¨
Jiu jitsu never forgives
funny two muay thai fighters…….ju jit su does not punch or kick….. you got two mma guys……
That takedown was perfectly timed and that cage work was immaculate as well.
REALLY impresive…. true fight..
He isn't actually a shaolin monk
Both were very good. I admire the shaolin monk more though. Despite not being trained in modern combat systems, he did a good job. That punch to the MMA was damn good. Maybe, Shaolin should also learn all these 'short-cuts' such as 'knee bars', 'handbars', 'chokes' and others. Given their training, if shaolin regimen was tweaked to mix these subduing techniques, they will also win a lot more.
It's not xie wie
grappling is nothing compare to shaolin kung fu master. shaoling kung fu can beat any bjj mma fighter (with a gun)
He's a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and doesn't engage in the ground fightingπ
When a Shaolin Kung Fu Master fights you in reality you are in trouble in a big way, back off stop they will respect that π.
Bullsh*t. Not a monk. Not a competent Kung fu man. Just a kickboxer. You have never seen actual Kung fu. Trust me.
Crazy display of skills
Winning by wrestling.
Some of the MMA move is not for street fighting, when you're trying to choke the neck, simple response if bite the forearm will neutralise the choke!
A nod to those who say that Shaolin training does not stand the test of MMA. Pure nonense.
What was the referee warning about every time Xei tried to pull the arm from his neck? To me, who doesn't know the full rule set it was like he was telling him he's not allowed to break free.
Shone Line grab skill won this time
A Real Shaolin?? Maybe a student π
Yeah, bjj guy is going to win when it turns into a grappling match. If the striker can force it to be all about striking they can win though. bjj guys don't practice striking as mutch as they should. An unskilled punch is only a hundred foot pounds, where a trained punch is 600 to over 1000 foot pounds for a professional fighter.
Empty victory, BJJ guy was getting roped, and then had to go to rear choke
I loved mma a lot , but when i watched wing chun and shaulin kungfu i would definitly say they could be a killing machine if actually fought in mma
That's the efficiency of BJJ. Monks are technically way more trained to withstand the crazy but technique alone can win
No true shaolin monk would.nt have sulked in defeat like that….its a learning curve win..lose…applied properly with an open mindset Jiu jitsu is formiddable..once that lock goes its 99.9% over.π
Shaolin is no fall over and also cage and bjj is not true art
Where is the Shaolin monk? .
There are no magical techniques. There are no people with super powers. Shaolin monk is not synonymous with movie action hero.
White guy cheated.
If was a Shaolin this would end at least two ways i can tell now – first way would be like a litle kid playng fight AGAINST a adult guy /theyr FATHER for example – second way would be just the whole thin ending up in LESS than 1 minute [if Shaolin attacks]
Both fighters were cross trained in striking and grappling, as all modern MMA fighters are.
I understand what BJ stands for but what does the extra J stand for? βJackoffβ?
aussie aussie aussie, oi oi oi
As soon as it got to the ground it was over for Shiolin.
how can you not grab gloves in a grappling situation??
I thought Xie was going to win he nearly won but BJJ defeated Kung fu.However kudos to both fighters.
