  1. Both were very good. I admire the shaolin monk more though. Despite not being trained in modern combat systems, he did a good job. That punch to the MMA was damn good. Maybe, Shaolin should also learn all these 'short-cuts' such as 'knee bars', 'handbars', 'chokes' and others. Given their training, if shaolin regimen was tweaked to mix these subduing techniques, they will also win a lot more.

  2. When a Shaolin Kung Fu Master fights you in reality you are in trouble in a big way, back off stop they will respect that πŸ˜€.

  3. Bullsh*t. Not a monk. Not a competent Kung fu man. Just a kickboxer. You have never seen actual Kung fu. Trust me.

  4. Some of the MMA move is not for street fighting, when you're trying to choke the neck, simple response if bite the forearm will neutralise the choke!

  5. What was the referee warning about every time Xei tried to pull the arm from his neck? To me, who doesn't know the full rule set it was like he was telling him he's not allowed to break free.

  6. Yeah, bjj guy is going to win when it turns into a grappling match. If the striker can force it to be all about striking they can win though. bjj guys don't practice striking as mutch as they should. An unskilled punch is only a hundred foot pounds, where a trained punch is 600 to over 1000 foot pounds for a professional fighter.

  7. I loved mma a lot , but when i watched wing chun and shaulin kungfu i would definitly say they could be a killing machine if actually fought in mma

  8. No true shaolin monk would.nt have sulked in defeat like that….its a learning curve win..lose…applied properly with an open mindset Jiu jitsu is formiddable..once that lock goes its 99.9% over.πŸ‘

  9. If was a Shaolin this would end at least two ways i can tell now – first way would be like a litle kid playng fight AGAINST a adult guy /theyr FATHER for example – second way would be just the whole thin ending up in LESS than 1 minute [if Shaolin attacks]
