Sad, sad times; this american invasion of my beloved club. Forget, ''Matching on Together". Start learning the words to the ''Star Sprangled Banner''. Change the uniforms to red, blue and white stars and stripes and shout out for USA Leeds United sukka club! Of all the clubs in England it had to be my beloved Leeds United. Yes, right now I am the lone voice shouting out in the wilderness, yet I shall not not desist from crying out loud. Never! A Proud Yorkshireman!
I think we need 6 wins 4-5 draws surly this squad can at least do this and for me I’m hoping we get between 20-30 points in the second half of the season

That Llorente departure… 18 M in return!!!….what serendipity! Did not see this coming at all. Add that in with Weston and Diogo…. Michelin level 5 star cooking from the board got give them a ton of credit.
Apart from been a crazy great signing this is also a huge coup for the very attractive US audience. I haven't been this excited about a squad since O'Leary days. I do hope Jesse now delivers
Looking at this squad, it's a very strong squad… Out of the blue, under the radar…. Think it's young players like Willy and Summerville taking their opportunity, players coming back from injury and a good transfer window… BOOM! This squad shouldn't be anywhere near the bottom now. Time to start winning and moving up this league.
Greetings Kagey, just thinking of clubs getting transfers wrong, a few spring to mind, salah and de bruyne let go by Chelsea, they turned out ok, on the leeds squad now ,if I had one wish it would be that we could rewind and start the season again, as the saying goes patience is virtue.

I’m really excited that Weston McKennie has come to Leeds, he’ll be an excellent asset for the club, plus he’ll be able to link up with his USMNT team mate Tyler Adams in midfield, now that McKennie nas come to Leeds that will be three US World Cup players at Elland Road plus are manager Jesse Marsch, i don’t believe that the 49's will wait untill May 2024 to purchase the other 51% of shares that Andrea Radrizzani holds, this is not a bad thing for the club the revenue that the US market will bring in will be substantial to say the least and i’m happy that SF49’s are taking over, it’s better than a Saudi Arabian Prince, a Russian Oil & Gas Mogel or an American Real Estate Holdings CEO, all of these people had one thing in common the owners had no knowledge of the team that they had bought or even the game of football itself, at least the 49’s Franchise come from a sports back ground and are knowledgeable about the club and the game of football (Soccer as our American cousins call it…lol).The market for players in the MLS is massive but sadly untouched, so hopefully the 49’s and Jesse Marsch will be able to tap into those League’s and find us some more excellent players like USMNT's World Cup Captain Tyler Adams and USMNT midfielder Brendan Aaronson… Great Players @ Great Prices….And lets not forget to say Thank you to Juventus for their dodgy transfer dealings and 15 point deduction that made this transfer possible…grazie amico mio…pmsl 🤣🤣🤣🤣….. 🏈 + ⚽= $$$$$$

Brighton just don’t have Mitoma and Caciedo they got Evan Ferguson and Mac Allister all of which cost less than €15 million… I hope for Leeds to steal their recruiting team
If I could triple like I would. Weston and Monteiro in and Llorente on loan. The club would have known he had some admirers, hence the new contract. Diego will eat up Series A. Llorente was good when he first landed, people were calling him a rolls royce. I think his mind just faded a bit.

He might do well in Serie A, but he is NOT a Premier League player.

McKennie and Adams are both box to box midfield players while we have 5 players who are excellent wide players. We also have all our striker/forwards who thrive in front pairings.
Kagey, do you believe Jesse should go back to the 4 – 4 – 2 formation?

Can see Harrison going today kage hopefully good fee ,don't know why we need this Italian attacker from Roma though

If we fail to do so then Marsche will have no complaints when he gets the sack but I really don’t expect that to happen. Well done and thanks to the board. Credit where credit is due.

Kagey wow what a day so pleased we finally get Weston he will be a permanent member of lufc he will stop after his loan deal now for the fantastic piece of news llorente out of the door what a great piece of business by leeds give llorente a new 4 year contract and then sell him i dont know how much we got but even 1pence is great business i still would have liked a LB but if firpo can get it together then fine not sure of Harrison going its tricky if he is coming good then no also going to a club fighting relegation ummm now if he goes back to his normal non existence play then sell 25 /30 million

I think we have now transitioned hopefully to our next stage. The players who got us promoted and kept us up have generally played out of their skins but it is time to move on with a hopefully better squad and with the the SF49s and USA support.

Think this window is one of the greatest windows we have had, the fact we have invested so well in attack, midfield and defence shows we are making the right changes.
Our attack now looks so deadly I mean who do you actually start and what formation.
Bamford, Sinisterra and Firpo coming back makes them like new signings and who do you choose in attack ie, Bamford, Rodrigo, Rutter, Gnonto, Sinisterra, Summerville, Harrison and Aaronson!!
