Yes, this is a bit concerning. Villa are a good club with an excellent manager, they impressed last season under emri's leadership. Personally I don't see it happening, I don't think villa will pay what we want for him, & is villa really that much of a step up ? I don't think it is, the only thing they offer more than forest is Europa League, not exactly a priority tornament, the prem & the fa cup are still more prestigious imo, & it's doubtful villa are going to go deep in the competition anyway, maybe q/f at best. Also, I don't think Johnson would really want to go, he's settled here, just brought a house here so I here, + Birmingham is an absolute shit hole !!! If he goes I reckon it'll be to a champions League club & for ridiculous £££
Aston Villa fan here. Seriously doubt this is someone we'd look at. If so, he would have been identified as a 4th – 6th choice wide player (no offence). Don't see us breaking our transfer record paying 40+ million for him.
No I think if we keep him and improve our squad Forest can be top half of the premiership this season and I don’t think the chairman would risk selling him

Love Jonno, but Villa are exactly the club where he could go, great manager and on the up. I've racked my brains and I don't see where jonno fits into out team, Navas, Lodi, Worrall, Felipe, Nikhate, Aurier, Yates, mangala, Danilo, MGW & Awonyi, in my opinion is our strongest team. I think we need 3 at the back, to cover the wingbacks and 3 in midfield to win that battle, then MGW and Awonyi are a no brainer. I know coops keeps saying that we're not playing the style he wants to, but that was a very effective way to play and I thought quite enjoyable
Keep him at all costs, the kind of player we need to win cup competitions. Unfortunately our only chance of silverware as winning the premiership is out of our reach.
