We finally have a complete centre back that’s ready for any type of game. He’s fast, strong, and tall so he can’t get bullied or paced often. He’s also fantastic with the ball at his feet for technical games with loads of ball possession. Rolls Royce of a defender.

Something I've noticed is how with Saliba: A lot of his aerial or headed clearances when dispelling opponent's attacks usually go back to our possession. There's a way he heads or aerially clears the ball away that he still sends it to the direction of one of our players and we therefore gain possession 💆🏽
