From a purely footballing perspective, it a no. From a fan of Liverpool, it’s a fuck no! Despite Hendos shortcomings this season, he is still vital to the team. His role needs to be managed in that he’s played cleverly and not trying to name him in every starting line up. That in no way means get rid of him.

It is 100% time to cash in on Henderson, especially if the Saudi’s want him. His days at LFC are done. We still have great leadership in VVD, Robbo, Salah and Alisson. Henderson would be sitting on the bench for a lot of the upcoming season anyway, so transitioning the arm band to one of the mentioned above is imminent. Stevie G left Liverpool at age 34. I didn’t want Milner to leave let alone Henderson. These players have extremely high standards and lead the team. Probably because Milner still wants to play, he doesn’t want a coaching role right now. But him and Hendo I feel would be brilliant coaches 💯
