Back up CDM is hugely important. More so than an 8, or probably even RB.

Perhaps we also have to look at Fiorentina's tactics too, how they would set up their defences etc…. looking at FBref, Amrabat's defensive action was lower when compared to other midfielders in the dataset, but his defensive action was among the highest in the team, aside from the defenders of course

Everyone does realise amrabat is a cm and not a cdm, he only played cdm in the world cup because there was no one else able to play there in the moroccan team

I reckon we should sell Sancho if price is right, we need to raise more transfer fund. With Rashford/Garnacho on the left and Antony/Pellistri on the right. I don't think we need Sancho.

Bit of a jorginho for me we need more of a battler because he wont be able to do what big cass does if he’s out but would be ok next to him 🤷🏽♂️, Mohamed Camara would be better choice or even the young kid from benfica I’ve seen links to joao neves
Like the idea but like Casemiro, does his midfield battles approved by the FA? Flailing arms on the opponent's face and hard tackles signs of impending booking and suspension.
He could be a very good understudy to Casemiro.

It's just worded wrong, when teams are interested in a player they ask the club if they are open to a sale if they can speak to the player to see if they are interested in a move otherwise it's just a waste of time. It's not tapping up. Also DM is an extremely important position we need to strengthen, saying it's not is incredibly naive. We have no cover for Casemiro, Fred and McTominay are nowhere near good enough and can't play DM and we need 2 DM's for games at Anfield and Etihad.
Good signing for 25 mill Casemiro picks up yellow cards for fun he would play along side or step in when needed
I like this signing if we can get him It's a massive upgrade on Fred who is very lightweight in the tackle IMO

He's a needed signing… we saw what happened when Casemiro was out of the line up. More important than a center forward! Solution: Play Garnacho left wing (and/or bring back Greenwood), play Rashford at center forward and save us 100 Mil.
