Imagine loosing your three best and most important players Konrad Laimer, Nkunku, Szobozlai and Gvardiol in the same window. But then again a few years ago they lost their manager (Nagelsmann), center back (Upamechano) and captain (Sabitzer) to Bayern aswell. If Leipzig does not change their stragety they will never win the league

What they failed to mention is that Gvardiol can play LB too and, with a bit of development in that role, he can become a world-class LB because he already has the speed, size and defensive ability for it. All he needs is more work on his attacking skills(crossing, transition etc.) so he's pretty versatile as well.
