  1. Come on Lexi. As a player you know better that a coach should not unload / disclose the inner workings of locker room publicly. Which is what Berhalter did. This did not justify what Gio’s parents subsequently did. However, the coach’s airing of what took place during WC was unnecessary and poor judgment – all done to justify why he didn’t play Reyna. As one comment noted, we did just fine in recent wins over Mexico and Canada without Berhalter. Let’s not applaud his mediocrity because he got US out of a WC group. He was out coached and out classed vs Holland. If this is what you mean by “he deserves to continue…..” then we are content with accepting mediocrity for 2026.

  2. An admission* of abuse, usmnt stands behind it.
You can’t say that he’s very good at it, but leave the best players behind and premeditated at that.
    Alexis is wrong

  3. There are a lot of bad parents out there like LaVar Ball and Claudio Reyna. This is easy to police. But Berhalter has no idea who to play. He tried to build a USMNT around Wil Trapp.

  4. Is there another GGG that we don’t know about? What is Alexi babbling about? The trumped up MLS coach was at best mediocre. We never played anyone truly capable and every team outside CONCACAF schooled us on how the game is really played. We were only scraping by in the World Cup. A has been Netherlands coach wrecked us. We do better with the third tier stand in nobody and we are expected to believe Coach Greg is the best we could find.

Alexi dragging in this pitiful excuse for a justification, like we should be grateful Coach Greg still wants to lead us and we should be sorry for all that happened to him. Everything he mentioned was NOT in the mind of any fans when the search for his replacement was under way. We want better. We need better. That means better COACHING, not anything off the pitch.

  5. He's been handed one of the best generations of US players and he's still not doing well with them. How much are they paying you to spout this drivel?

  6. Berhalter has done everything he can do at this point. He should step aside and let someone else take the reigns. Honestly would’ve like to have seen him in a championship club in England.
