🚨 Ruben Neves Set To Join Saudi Club Al-Hilal

  1. It was inevitable Ruben would depart in this window – unsurprising. However, What is surprising is the destination. SA is the trending destination for professional footballers right now. Similar to the Chinese super league a few seasons ago.
It's fantastic Ruben isn't leaving to a direct competitor. I also believe our patience with Barcelona has reached its peak. Unfortunately it's likely this transfer will proportionally cover the losses on Guedes and the Italian. Wonderful opportunity for Nunes to step up and stake a claim as our new talisman.
This transfer signals the end of high priced gestifute signings

  2. Tis the beginning of the end of football, this saudi money league is like the LIV GOLF brand, its the death of football, greed will now take over. The prem will become a league full of National B team players and champ players making the step up!

  3. I think it is time R N to move on it will give him what he wants a lot of money and the opportunity to play with other high profile players and maybe bring along former teammates who are looking for new employment. And for Wolves some Β£ 47 million for a player who is out of contract next year. Its a Win Win for all parties as I sure that Wolves would not want to increase his weekly salary to keep him. There is a change coming whether we like it or not in the amount of money earned by top players. There is also the UEFA FFP Rules coming down the track that has to be paid and don’t forget the Premier League is signed up for these new rules. Knowing how envious are our European friends of our Premier League that will want to push for the financial stability to be implemented sap.

  4. If he can’t get a champions league team to buy him now I can’t see it happening in 2 years time. Saudi not exactly a shop window, he will just get forgotten about and the huge drop in competitive standards will decline his game rapid

  5. Wouldn't the money have to go to Atletico Madrid to pay off Cunha's obligation to buy clause though? As we haven't bought him yet

  6. I wish he was heading somewhere else, but it will be good for Wolves that the churn of rumours around Ruben's transfer will finally come to an end.

  7. Apart from the destination and price not a great surprise that Ruben is moving on. I can only wish him the best in his future career and to thank him so much for his wonderful service to Wolves over his six years with the club. Not a bad footballer either. Good Luck Ruben, All the Very Best to You.

  8. It amazes me how all these footballers going to Saudi for big wages yet for the last 2/3 seasons the been taking the knee for blm and lgbtq+people, is this the same Saudi where human rights don’t matter and face death for being gay

  9. Got to be a great deal for Wolves! We will find another midfielder who with the managers plans will shape the club better, my view is that next season we will make the top ten or even eight, better times are coming!
