I'm concerned about the interest from Villa.
They're a proper club. Plenty of history, loyal and large fanbase… a good option for Jono if he wanted to go.
But he won't go. Because he's one of our own and Villa are not quite good enough.
We cannot sell him to any other prem club, simple as that. If a ridiculous offer comes in from the big Spanish/Italian/German clubs it might just be worth considering then. But still no for me, at any price. If he continues with his development over the next 2–3 seasons he's going to be 1 of the best right sided attacking players in the world, that's when we'll start getting serious offers from serious clubs, it will be hard to keep hold of him them but we should try our best to keep him at the city ground for as long as possible.
Not for sale, one of our own not until we get a third star and he is looking for some big American league money 😉
