  1. Conor Cody great servant wish him and his family all the very best, we know he just wants to play football and good luck to him, very sad to see him go always smiling and joking great character and a leader!! and will be loved where ever he goes I am sure, thanks mate for all you have given for this club over the years.👏👏👏👍👍

  2. Great deal but depends who we get in to replace him because calamity Colin’s wasn’t the answer ,at least we will get our monies back on coliins

  3. Can't argue with the deal really given that we'd already accepted half that much and then he barely played last season anyway. But might Wolves have missed a trick here, because Leicester have a few decent players especially in attacking areas (players who regularly score goals) now obviously seeking a PL move. Some kind of swap with cash may have suited both clubs. Just a thought.

  4. He has been tremendous for we as a player, captain and human being. All the best to him. Got a feeling he will be back sometime in the future as our manager, I may not be around though lol. All the best Conor our best captain after Mike Bailey in my life time.

  5. All parties should be happy with that. Leicester get the perfect Championship level club captain, Coady gets to play football again and Wolves get £7m to blow on a useless winger.

  6. good luck great player for us but needs regular footy at his age lucks like Leicester might be looking to play like we did in championship with coady in back 5 spraying balls out to wing backs

  7. I am a big fan of Coady, not the greatest defender but he loves wolves. Fantastic leader and whenever he was featured on Sky laughing and joking neutrals would say how much they love him. But Leicester is a very decent club to continue his career best of luck Captain <3 <3

  8. All the best to Conor. I don’t get the hate from a large majority of our fans on Twitter. Like you said Dave he captained us for the best period in our history in some time, the man deserves massive respect

  9. Great signing for Leicester and good deal for us.
He lacks the pace and power to play as one of two centre backs at decent Prem level, but he’ll be fantastic for them in the Championship and his leadership qualities will be a huge benefit for them.
He’s a good guy, good luck to him. 👍🏻

  10. Can’t thank Coady enough. Alas all good things have to come to an end and this is good for all parties. Lopetegui/Hobbs obviously have plenty up their sleeve and should collins go for £25 million that’s £80 million brought in plus big wages to Moutinho, adama and the likes saved . Over to you Fosun! No excuses now

  11. Sorry to see him go, and a big mistake by the club. He has been a great servant to the club, a great leader, and I’m just disappointed that we the fans were not there to see him, and applaud, and show our appreciation of a great servant to our club. There are some players who we didn’t, but they weren’t such as influential as Connor. Good luck Coades, in the future and thank you for your service, I think you’ve been treated crap by the club.🐺

  12. At £7.5m a somewhat pricey but still v good buy for Leicester. Just wondering if a Fox might be joining the Wolves pack to offset the investment a bit. Many thanks to Conor for his great service to the Wolves especially too as he could always be relied on to pop up and score a few goals a season and just as importantly clear a few off the line in his time. Glad he didn't go to another Prem club, which in the likely circumstances of the coming season would have been near suicidal for us – that Everton bite has obviously made us twice shy. All told, I would have been very happy for him to stay, he was and is a big player to replace, but I wish Conor all the very best in his new career.

  13. Thanks for the update. The Wolves 'standing firm' line is probably due to the FFP situation. Fosun are turning the taps off, and need more player sales instead.

  14. We missed cody last season but when Everton scored against us he kissed the Everton badge so now get rid of him get a bit of money for him as he's 30 now bring in a better defence looks like cloins his going so we have su money to spend
