This is why oil money killed the game. It's not only a case of clubs bullying with their money for their own gain, they use it to inflate the prices for other clubs and gain more leverage this way too. City had absolutely no desire to sign Rice.
Overrated
For me if it doesn’t get done at this point (£105m) I think we (Arsenal) should walk away.. I’m proud of my club but I don’t believe we should overpay.

In reality Powerhouse clubs don't pay over the odds for what they really believe a player is worth..but still win their leagues or major trophies. I'm a arsenal fan but I respect how city work in the window. But arsenal are a club who have to pay slightly over the odds until we reach cities level
